i have a 1gb portable flash drive nd i'm using it to transfer my files from my laptop, i'll be reformatting my laptop because its infected by the quicknews.info spybot/worm/malware whatever. can the quicknews.info also get into my flash drive? i'll be transfering my files to my desktop pc, i'm afraid that it will also infect my desktop pc. tnx.
Yes it can get to your flash drive IF one of the files you move is infected. Then it can move to whatever machine you plug your flash into. I would move the files to the flash then do a virus scan only on the flash drive before I plugged it into another computer.
